If you don’t feel like spending a lot of time in the kitchen but still want a great meal, then this recipe is for you! The lemons add a fresh taste for spring or summer meals and some zing to the asparagus. What’s best, is the entire meal is ready at once in roughly 20 minutes.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10-15 minutes
Ingredients
1/2 pound shrimp precooked (can use frozen, if they are thawed)
1-2 lemons
1/2 – 1 packet of dry italian seasoning
1 stick of salted butter (1/2 cup)
1 large handful of asparagus (thin stalks)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Slice lemons thinly
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil
- Melt the butter in the microwave and pour over the lemons
- Toss the raw shrimp with Italian seasoning
- Place shrimp on lemons
- Trim the asparagus and spray with cooking oil (I use my oil mister)
- Place the asparagus on the other half of the pan over the lemons
- Sprinkle entire pan with salt
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until shrimp is hot and asparagus is cooked
