Italian Cheese Bread

No freezer space? Don’t worry you won’t have to keep garlic or cheese bread in your freezer anymore! This recipe is easy and doesn’t require much forethought. Ready in minutes to accompany your favorite pasta dishes.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
8-12 slices French bread approximately 1 inch thick
2 cups (8 oz) shredded Italian-blend cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine butter, lemon-pepper seasoning, garlic powder, basil and oregano
  2. Spread mixture over one side of the bread
  3. Place in a un-greased pan putter side up
  4. Sprinkle with cheese
  5. Broil 4 inches from the heat for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown
